  • Pre-registration is now open for the closed beta of Sword of Justice
  • This fantasy martial arts MMO transports players to 12th-century China

Has your Wuxia craving gone unsatisfied recently? NetEase's upcoming fantasy martial arts MMO, Sword of Justice, has now opened pre-registration for its closed beta. Players in the United States, Canada, Mexico, or Brazil can jump in starting September 26th.

For those unfamiliar with Sword of Justice, this Wuxia-inspired MMO is set in a world based on China's Northern Song Dynasty during the 12th century. That means all your favorite martial arts themes, wrapped in an authentic Chinese fantasy setting.

But Sword of Justice doesn't just rely on its immersive world. It also delivers stunning visuals. While PC players will enjoy path tracing, mobile gamers won't miss out—ray tracing will also be available in Sword of Justice.

Sword of Justice plans to stay free-to-play, with capped stats and regular seasonal resets, emphasizing skill over spending. We've heard this before, with varying outcomes, but given the game's polished appearance, there’s reason for cautious optimism.

And not just because I have a soft spot for kung fu.
