Tears of Themis Drops the Ballad of the Dunes Event with New MR Cards

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils its latest update: "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This crossover event seamlessly blends the game's signature detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city nestled on the Gobi Desert's edge.

What's New in "Ballad of the Dunes"?

This historical romance mystery unfolds amidst the ancient Silk Road. Players will unravel intriguing cases steeped in the region's vibrant past. The event introduces four stunning new MR cards, each featuring one of the main characters (Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius) and inspired by Dunhuang's artistic and cultural treasures: flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the unique pipa. The card designs evoke the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's historical significance as a melting pot of art, culture, and trade during the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD).

Each card boasts a unique story: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation," all accompanied by Private Messages offering a deeper dive into this thousand-year-old journey.

Event Rewards:

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A key challenge involves a cell-flipping game board revealing various prizes. The ultimate reward is the choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive Celebration – Dunes Namecard.
