Tony Hawk Eyes Remake of 'Tony Hawk's Underground'

If you've been yearning for a revival of Tony Hawk's Underground, you're in good company. Tony Hawk himself is actively "campaigning" for a remake of this beloved classic.

"I always have aspirations," Hawk shared with ScreenRant. "It's not up to me generally. I'll campaign all I can, but I'm working with a much bigger company that's a lot smarter than me."

When pressed about Activision's plans following the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, Hawk remained tight-lipped, simply stating, "We haven't even released this game [yet]!"

Originally launched in 2003, Tony Hawk's Underground earned a stellar 9.2 review score from us, praised for its "virtually flawless" level design and "stellar gameplay." A groundbreaking feature at the time was the ability to explore expansive levels on foot, a first for the series.

PlayTony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is slated to hit the shelves on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One on July 11, 2025.
