Top Cards Revealed in Pokemon TCG Pocket

The March 2025 mini expansion for *Pokemon TCG Pocket*, dubbed Shining Revelry, introduces a plethora of new cards that promise to shake up the game's meta. If you're looking to enhance your deck, here are the top cards from Shining Revelry that you should aim to pull:

Pokemon TCG Pocket: Shining Revelry Best Cards

Team Rocket Grunt

Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, discard a random Energy from your opponent’s Active Pokemon. This card acts as an effective counter to energy-centric strategies, akin to an anti-Misty. While not game-changing, the potential to disrupt your opponent's energy advantage early on can be a significant game-changer. Plus, the possibility of completely shutting down their Active Pokemon is a bonus that shouldn't be overlooked.

Pokemon Center Lady

Heal 30 damage from 1 of your Pokemon, and it recovers from all Special Conditions. Although not as powerful as Irida or Erika, Pokemon Center Lady stands out due to its lack of restrictive conditions. The ability to heal all Special Conditions is a major advantage, particularly enhancing the resilience of Snorlax decks.

Cyclizar

80HP. Overacceleration (1 Colorless Energy): During your next turn, this Pokemon’s Overacceleration attack does +20 damage. Deals 20 damage initially. 1 Retreat Cost. Weakness: Fighting. Cyclizar offers a strategic alternative to Farfetch’d, especially for fans of the latter. While it starts with less immediate damage, its additional HP could be a deciding factor in your deck's composition. The Fighting weakness is something to consider when choosing between Cyclizar and Farfetch’d.

Wugtrio Ex

140HP. Pop Out Throughout (3 Water Energy): Randomly selects one of your opponent’s Pokemon three times, dealing 50 damage each time a Pokemon is chosen. 1 Retreat Cost. Weakness: Lightning. Though I'm generally skeptical of RNG-based attacks, Wugtrio Ex's potential to deal up to 150 damage across multiple Pokemon is compelling, especially in a meta dominated by strategies like Cyrus's, where damaging Benched Pokemon can be crucial.

Lucario Ex

150HP. Aura Sphere (3 Fighting Energy): This attack does 100 damage to the opponent's Active Pokemon and an additional 30 damage to one of their Benched Pokemon. 2 Retreat Cost. Weakness: Psychic. Lucario Ex is particularly exciting due to its ability to impact Benched Pokemon, making it a strong choice in the current meta. Pairing it with regular Lucario can further boost its effectiveness, offering versatile strategic options.

Beedrill Ex

170HP. Crushing Spear (2 Grass Energy): Discards a random Energy from your opponent’s Active Pokemon while dealing 80 damage. 1 Retreat Cost. Weakness: Fire. While the base Beedrill might not have impressed, Beedrill Ex brings significant value to Grass decks. Its ability to deal substantial damage for only 2 Energy, coupled with the guaranteed Energy discard, can shift the meta in favor of Grass decks, despite its Stage 2 status.

These are the standout cards from *Pokemon TCG Pocket*: Shining Revelry that you should consider adding to your collection to stay competitive in the evolving meta.
