Top Gacha Games by Profit in January 2025 Revealed

Gacha game enthusiasts are always keen to monitor the financial performance of their favorite titles. The latest figures for January 2025 have just been released, providing a fascinating insight into the genre's top earners.

Last month, Genshin Impact rolled out a significant update featuring the pyro archon, with the banner spotlighting Mawuika drawing considerable attention. The data indicates that miHoYo's (HoYoverse) flagship title saw its revenues soar to $99.4 million, a sharp increase from the $45.6 million recorded in December 2024.

In the rankings, Pokemon TCG secured the second spot with earnings of $64 million, while Love and Deepspace, often referred to as a "female gacha," claimed the third position with $55.2 million in revenue.

Honkai Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, reporting $50.8 million for the month. Meanwhile, Zenless Zone Zero saw its revenues cut in half, dropping from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.

It's important to note that these rankings are based solely on mobile platform revenues. Some of these games, including those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. Additionally, a specific calculation method is used for the Chinese market: "Since Google Play does not operate in China, Android revenue estimates for the country are derived using a multiplier based on iOS earnings there."
