Kai: This formidable ex-mercenary, encountered early in Dawnshore, is a tank-like Companion. His strengths lie in sustaining and dealing significant damage. Kai's fire abilities prove invaluable for clearing obstacles and revealing hidden treasures. His upgradable abilities include:

• Fire and Ire (Active): A powerful blunderbuss shot that stuns and taunts a single enemy.
• Unbending Defense (Active): Regenerates health and boosts damage reduction.
• Leap of Daring (Active): A stunning, taunting leap attack affecting nearby enemies.
• Second Win (Passive): Revives Kai with 50% health upon death.

Marius: Met in Dawnshore, Marius shares a history with Kai. This skilled hunter and tracker brings his expertise to both narrative and gameplay. His "Hunter Sense" ability aids in locating loot and crafting materials. Marius' combat prowess utilizes bow and arrow, daggers, and nature-based traps. His upgradable abilities are:

• Binding Roots (Active): Roots an enemy in place.
• Heart Seeker (Active): A piercing shot that ignores obstacles.
