To evolve Kubfu into the Single Strike Urshifu, set it as your buddy and take on 30 Dark-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles. For the Rapid Strike Urshifu, engage with 30 Water-types in the same manner during the Final Strike: GO Battle Week. It's a thrilling opportunity to see your hard work pay off and add one of these formidable fighters to your team.

Don’t miss the Special Research that continues the enthralling Seasonal storyline. Available until June 3rd, 2025, it offers Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and encounters with themed Pokémon such as Charcadet with a Special Background, enhancing your Pokémon GO experience.

May 25th: A Special Day

Mark your calendars for May 25th, the Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, you'll witness the debut of Gigantamax Machamp in six-star Max Battles. This event comes packed with bonuses to boost your gameplay.

During this period, you'll only need to travel one-fourth the normal distance to earn Max Particles. Your Max Particle storage cap will increase to 1,600, and all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles. Plus, you'll receive 8× Max Particles from these battles and two extra Special Trades. Make the most of these advantages to enhance your battle strategy.

Don’t overlook the chance to gather Max Mushrooms. These items temporarily double your Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon’s damage output. You can stack them to extend the effect duration, although the damage boost remains constant.
