Vampire Survivors Unveils SaGa-Inspired DLC and Cross-Save Update

Vampire Survivors has just released an exciting new free DLC titled Emerald Diorama, which introduces a unique crossover with Square Enix's renowned JRPG series, SaGa. This marks the largest update to the game yet, bringing fresh content and new gameplay mechanics to enhance your gaming experience.

Emerald Diorama Infuses JRPG Elements into Vampire Survivors

The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a novel stage designed as a mini world map, complete with a world-hopping atmosphere. Players can explore over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who perform cursed songs, adding depth and variety to the game.

With more than 16 new weapons and the innovative Glimmer system, players can now randomly acquire new skills during runs, significantly altering gameplay dynamics. Additionally, nine new music tracks have been added to enrich the auditory experience.

To access the Emerald Diorama, head to Moongolow and engage with a new merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, which will unlock the content sequentially. The DLC also introduces character parties, allowing you to form and command your own mini squad.

Furthermore, the DLC includes two new Adventures, each consisting of six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" is tailored for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands the new DLC's content.

Accompanying Free Update: The Coop

Alongside the Emerald Diorama, Vampire Survivors has released another free update called The Coop, centered around a chicken theme. This update introduces Gazebo, a new chicken character, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay.

Players can achieve various milestones and unlock Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens unlocks the full potential of The Coop update. A useful tip: refrain from killing anything for the first minute during The Coop gameplay to unlock the Gaze of Gaea, which can be evolved further with Parm Aegis to unlock Gazebo.
