Video: Evelyn Gameplay, the new stripping heroine from Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero's developers, miHoYo (HoYoverse), continue to expand the game's roster. A new trailer showcases the highly anticipated heroine, Evelyn Chevalier.

Evelyn, already a fan favorite even before official release due to beta testing reveals (including a unique battle mechanic where she sheds her cape and uses it as a weapon), is an S-rank Fire-type Assault character. She'll be featured in the second banner of Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update alongside Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi.

The 1.5 update itself includes the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) Polychrome compensation. Players will receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. This compensation will be delivered via in-game mail.

Evelyn's gameplay centers on focused targeting. Her basic attacks draw enemies in, creating extended attack chains. Her multi-stage and special attacks utilize "Forbidden Bounds," binding her to the main target. These attacks generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling her powerful fire-based abilities that inflict substantial damage. As previously leaked, her combat style includes dramatically discarding her cape at her opponents.
