Warframe: 1999's March Update: Techrot Encore Brings Boy Band Bosses and More!

Get ready for a blast from the past (and the future!) as Warframe: 1999 receives its Techrot Encore update this March. Digital Extremes' devstreams revealed a massive content drop, including the highly anticipated 60th Warframe, Temple, along with four new Protoframes and a whole lot more!

This update introduces a fresh twist to the Lich adversary system: the Technocyte Coda, a mutated version of the boy band On-Lyne. Fans of the pre-release ARG will recognize these once-harmless pop stars, now transformed into formidable foes.

To combat these new threats, players will receive a boost with four new Scaldra weapons, offering diverse combat options. Beyond the weaponry, the update includes enhancements to the Romance & Relationships system, a new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin, and of course, the aforementioned Protoframes and Warframe.

A Y2K Cyber-Thriller!

Warframe: 1999's unique Y2K aesthetic is a major draw, and the "boy band turned cybernetic monsters" concept is undeniably captivating. The upcoming update promises even more surprises.

Before the March update, players can enjoy the return of Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast (starting February 6th), new skins, and Nightwave Vol. 8, offering additional rewards.
