Launched by user verdantsf, the campaign was inspired by the kindness they received during their own tough times. Initially, verdantsf gifted five copies of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to fellow users, and due to an overwhelming response, followed up with another five. In total, games worth approximately $600 were distributed.

The movement quickly gained momentum, inspiring around 30 more individuals to purchase copies for those unable to buy the game themselves. Warhorse Studios, noticing the outpouring of support, stepped in by gifting verdantsf a collector’s edition of KCD2 and replenishing their stock for further giveaways.
