World of Warcraft's Detective Title Remains Accessible: A Guide to Finding Alyx and the Celebration Crates

World of Warcraft players can still earn the coveted Detective title and unlock the quest for the Incognitro Felcycle mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. This is thanks to the relocation of Alyx, the key NPC, to Dornogal.

Alyx, a Lightforged Draenei, now resides in Dornogal, near the hot springs northwest of the Delver's Headquarters, conveniently located before the Foundation Hall. They maintain their board detailing clues to locate 11 missing Celebration Crates. Returning these crates to Alyx grants players several achievements, culminating in the Detective title.

Obtaining the Detective Title:

1. Locate Alyx: Find Alyx in Dornogal, between the Delver's Headquarters and the Foundation Hall stairs.
2. Gather the Crates: Use the clues on Alyx's board to find all 11 hidden Celebration Crates. (Note: Players need to be level 10 to begin Celebration Crate quests, but level 68 is required to access Dornogal.)
3. Claim Your Rewards: Turn in six crates for the "Crate Insurance Agent" achievement, and all 11 for "No Crate Left Behind," "Azeroth's Greatest Detective," and the crucial Detective title. The Detective title unlocks the questline leading to the Incognitro mount.

This strategic move by Blizzard ensures players aren't locked out of obtaining the Incognitro mount. While the main Guest Relations questline is unavailable, the Detective title and its associated mount remain permanently accessible. Unfortunately, achievements like "Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager" and "I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats" are now unobtainable, along with their associated transmogs. The future availability of these rewards remains uncertain.
