World of Warcraft's highly anticipated housing system is slated for a 2025 release, with Blizzard unveiling initial details. The developers assure players that homes will be accessible to everyone, irrespective of complex prerequisites, exorbitant costs, or lotteries. Crucially, homes will remain yours even with lapsed subscriptions. This exciting feature is set to debut with the Midnight expansion.

Initially, players will select a plot in one of two designated zones: Alliance players will find their options in Elwynn Forest, incorporating elements from Westfall and Duskwood; Horde players will choose from Durotar, featuring aspects of Azshara and the Durotar coastline.

Each zone is segmented into districts, each accommodating approximately 50 houses. Players can opt for open-area plots or establish private communities with friends and guild members.
