HoYoverse has unveiled the exciting details of Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises to bring thrilling developments to the city of New Eridu, with an engaging storyline and the introduction of new characters.

What's Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

In this update, the Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, tasked with securing a mysterious artifact tied to the Sacrifice. However, the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, is determined to thwart the Mayor's plans, adding layers of tension and intrigue. Other factions are also in the mix, each with their own agenda and unwilling to let the Proxies easily claim the prize. Amidst this chaos, characters Hugo and Vivian exhibit suspicious behavior, leaving players to ponder their true intentions. Dive deeper into the story with the official trailer below.

Version 1.6 introduces Anby Demara, previously known as Soldier 0 and leader of the Silver Squad, now stepping into the spotlight as an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. Armed with dual swords, she delivers powerful Electric damage. Joining her is Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad, who comes in as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Trigger's ability to enter Sniper Mode allows her to dodge attacks and take precise shots, enhancing team synergy with Quick Assists.

Some Are Making a Comeback

Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon, and S-Rank agents Burnice and Zhuyuan, who will have their rerun banners. Additionally, Geppetto emerges as the new boss in Hollow Zero, challenging players with new strategies.

The update also brings new gameplay challenges. Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge will push your skills to the limit, while the new Hollow Zero mode, Shadow Operation, introduces special effects to each battle stage, such as boosting your damage based on collected coins.

Trigger's TV Schedule introduces a third-person sniper gameplay mode, allowing players to engage in real sniper missions. Additionally, March On, Tiny Titan! offers unique challenges with a Bangboo drone, and Little Knight's Big Charge lets players guide a Bangboo through ten trials to earn rewards, including the chance to unlock Pulchra as a playable agent.
