To emerge victorious in Oh Hell!, you need to outscore your opponents. Points are earned by winning tricks and accurately forecasting the number of tricks you will win in each round. The player with the highest score after a set number of rounds is declared the winner. Remember, there can be multiple winners!
Tailor Oh Hell! to your preferences with a variety of customizable rules:
- Select between 3 and 7 players
- Enable or disable the 'Screw the Dealer' rule
- Turn the ‘Nil Bid Worth 5’ rule on or off
- Choose the Trump suit as Alternate, Next Card, or No Trumps
- Opt for different game types: Up, Down, Up and Down, or Down and Up
- Adjust difficulty with easy, medium, or hard mode
- Replay rounds from either the bidding or playing phase
- Review previous hands within the round
- Switch between normal and fast play
- Toggle single-click play on or off

Quickfire Rules
Oh Hell! adheres to the classic rules of trick-taking card games. A card is trumped by a higher card of the same suit or any trump card. Players must follow suit if possible, but if unable, they may play a trump card to win the trick or throw away a non-trump card to lose it.
Each trick won scores one point. Accurately predicting the number of tricks you'll win during the bidding phase earns you 10 points per round, or 5 points if you bid zero and the ‘Nil Bid Worth 5’ option is active.
