Temple Run 2 will continue to bring surprises to its fans, just like the original. Players can choose from four distinct characters: Guy Dangerous, Scarlett Fox, Karma Lee, and Barry Bones. In Temple Run 2, you must keep escaping the temple while still being chased by the Temple Guardian—an evil demon monkey. While you’ll still be running, jumping, sliding, and turning, you’ll also have to navigate cliffs, zip lines, mines, and forests.

The gameplay in Temple Run 2 remains true to the original. Swipe your finger upward on the screen to leap over pits and obstacles; swipe downward to duck and slide under low ceilings and traps; swipe left or right to make sharp turns; tilt your device to steer along the path, narrowly avoiding dangers and collecting goodies along the way.

The game features power-ups and unlockable content that can be purchased with coins earned in the game, or you can buy currency through in-app purchases. Temple Run 2 doesn’t force spending, but buying a pack of coins to make things easier is tempting.

If you’ve played the original Temple Run, the sequel will feel both familiar and fresh at the same time. The graphics have been enhanced for a more visually stunning experience, while the running action remains just as fast-paced and responsive as ever.
