How to Play
*Town of Salem* accommodates 7 to 15 players, each assigned to different alignments: Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. As a Town member, your mission is to identify and eliminate the Mafia and other villains before they can take you down. The twist? You're in the dark about who's friend or foe.
If fate deals you an evil role, like a Serial Killer, your task is to covertly dispatch Town members under the cover of night while evading capture.
Roles
With 33 unique roles, *Town of Salem* guarantees a new adventure with every session. In the lobby, the host can tailor the game by selecting which roles will be available. Once the game begins, players receive a random role from the chosen list, accompanied by an in-game role card detailing their abilities and alignments. Game Phases
Night
The night phase is when the game's most secretive actions occur. Serial Killers silently eliminate their targets, Doctors work to save those attacked, and Sheriffs investigate for any signs of nefarious activity.
Day
During the day phase, Town members convene to debate and identify suspects among them. As the voting phase kicks off, a majority decision leads to a trial.
Defense
In the defense phase, you get your chance to convince the Town of your innocence. A compelling argument can mean the difference between life and the gallows.
Judgement
The judgement phase is when the Town casts their final vote on the accused. Options include voting guilty, innocent, or abstaining. A higher count of guilty votes results in the defendant's execution by hanging.
Customization
*Town of Salem* offers extensive customization options, allowing players to personalize their experience with choices in maps (town settings), characters, pets, lobby icons, death animations, houses, and custom names, all visible to other players in the game.
