Designed for children as young as 3, though most optimal for those aged 4 to 6, our alphabet game is perfect for preparing kids for school. Start with the 10 vowels - A, O, U, Y, I, E, Yo, E, Yu, Ya. These are easy to pronounce and learn. Initially, focus on the 6 basic vowel sounds - A, O, U, Y, I, E - before introducing the 4 vowels formed by merging sounds: E = Y + O; E = Y + E; Yu = Y + U; Ya = Y + A. Vowels can be further distinguished as stressed or unstressed.
Next, introduce the 21 consonants - B, V, G, D, ZH, Z, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, F, X, Ts, Ch, Sh, Shch. Additionally, there are 2 auxiliary letters, Ъ and Ь. In total, the Russian alphabet comprises 33 letters.
