DAB+ Radio USB

This is a specialized radio app designed for USB DAB+ receivers (not SDR-based) and is optimized for use with car headunits. It provides a clean, intuitive interface that’s easy to navigate, even on the go. The slideshow feature works smoothly, though it does not display station logos, ensuring a distraction-free listening experience without requiring an internet connection.

Previously Introduced Features

• Customizable color settings for info text – simply touch and hold the info area to change the color
• Experimental support for steering wheel controls:
  • Skip Next = Switch to Next Station
  • Skip Previous = Switch to Previous Station
  • Play = Cycle through filters ("All", "Selected Program Type", "Favourites")

This app isn't intended to compete with the highly advanced "DAB-Z" app. Rather, it's built for users who prefer a more simplified interface—especially those with less precise touchscreens or larger fingers. The UI is intentionally minimalistic, featuring large buttons and clearly defined selection zones to accommodate imperfect touchscreen calibration commonly found in vehicle displays.

It is specifically tailored for car screens with a resolution of 1024x600 in landscape orientation. If your screen has a different resolution and the layout appears off, you can report the issue via the XDA Developers forum (link available on the app's website).

The app is developed based on the HRadio example code by IRT GmbH (Fabian Sattler), which is published under the Apache License 2.0.
