Nickelodeon y Avatar Studios han presentado oficialmente "Avatar: Seven Havens", una nueva serie animada que expande el querido universo Avatar. Creado para conmemorar el vigésimo aniversario de la franquicia, este emocionante proyecto proviene de los creadores originales Michael DiMartino y Bryan Konietzko.

"Avatar: Seven Havens" será una serie animada 2D de 26 episodios después del viaje de un joven investigador de la tierra, el próximo avatar después de Korra. Ambientada en un mundo devastado por un evento cataclísmico, este nuevo avatar enfrenta un desafío desalentador: en esta era peligrosa, su destino se percibe como un presagio de destrucción en lugar de salvación. Cazada por enemigos humanos y espirituales, ella y su gemelo perdido hace mucho tiempo se embarcan en una búsqueda para desentrañar sus orígenes enigmáticos y salvaguardar los siete refugios antes de que los restos de la civilización se desmoronen.

DiMartino y Konietzko expresaron su emoción en una declaración, destacando la inesperada longevidad del mundo de Avatar y el rico tapiz de fantasía, misterio y nuevos personajes convencionales entretejidos en esta última entrega.
