Los jugadores se embarcarán en una búsqueda para transformar su humilde tienda en un negocio próspero explorando mazmorras, coleccionando artefactos raros y confrontar enemigos formidables.

Digital Sun ha prometido que Moonlighter 2 se basa en el núcleo del juego original, presentando historias más ricas y una mejor mecánica de juego. La narración se centra en Will, el protagonista, que está en una búsqueda para encontrar su camino de regreso a su dimensión nativa dentro del vasto mundo de Trense. A lo largo de su viaje, Will se reconecta con viejos aliados y forma nuevas amistades. Un comerciante misterioso entra en su camino, desafiándolo a localizar poderosas reliquias que podrían llevarlo a casa.

La encantadora banda sonora del juego está compuesta por el reconocido Chris Larkin, celebrado por su trabajo en Hollow Knight . Los fanáticos pueden esperar Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault que se lanzará a finales de este año en PC (a través de Steam), Xbox Series y PS5.
