Digital Sun has promised that Moonlighter 2 builds upon the original game's core, introducing richer storylines and improved gameplay mechanics. The narrative centers on Will, the protagonist, who is on a quest to find his way back to his native dimension within the vast world of Trense. Throughout his journey, Will reconnects with old allies and forms new friendships. A mysterious trader enters his path, challenging him to locate powerful relics that could lead him back home.
