Quick Links

The Cell Garden is a crucial area within your Panopticon in Freedom Wars Remastered, which you'll encounter early in the main storyline. It's not only pivotal for progressing in the narrative but also serves as a safe haven for resource farming compared to the more perilous operations outside.

Throughout Freedom Wars Remastered, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, but the method to access them remains consistent across all levels. Let's dive into how you can locate any Cell Garden and understand its mechanics for efficient resource gathering.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your journey to the Cell Garden begins when Mattias assigns you the task of investigating a ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to the main cell block on Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, look to the left corner to spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to 2-E165, the same location where you encountered Enzo.

Upon entering 2-E165, proceed along the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will transport you to 2-G100. The final step involves using the device in the far room of 2-G100, which will finally take you to the Cell Garden.

The route to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels, and unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the travel time. Once you've completed the main quest linked to the Cell Garden, you gain the ability to visit any Cell Garden at your leisure. However, acquiring a useful Entitlement beforehand is recommended.

Each device that leads to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon, making navigation straightforward.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's mechanics during the main story mission differ from its regular operation. Here's how it functions outside of the main quest:

  • You are allotted one minute before being automatically ejected.
  • The room's layout changes every time you enter, adding a layer of challenge and variety.
  • Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered across the room for you to collect.

To enhance your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades allow you to stay longer, which is particularly useful when dealing with complex room layouts. The first upgrade, available at CODE level 3, extends your stay to two minutes.
