Marvel's Vision Quest Casts Jocasta

Author:Kristen Update:Oct 25,2025

T’Nia Miller is reportedly cast as Jocasta in the upcoming Disney+ MCU series, Vision.

According to Deadline, Miller—known for her roles as Hannah Grose in The Haunting of Bly Manor, Victorine LaFourcade in The Fall of the House of Usher, and Zephyr Halima Ifa in Foundation—will take on a lead role opposite Paul Bettany’s Vision.

Miller’s version of Jocasta is characterized as “cunning and powerful,” with a strong motivation for vengeance. In Marvel comics, Jocasta was created by Ultron to serve as his companion. Ultron attempted to transfer the Wasp’s consciousness into the android, but the Wasp alerted the Avengers, who swiftly removed it. After being reactivated, Jocasta ultimately turned against Ultron and helped the Avengers bring him down.

Last week, IGN revealed that the WandaVision spinoff series is being developed by a team of experienced Star Trek writers and producers. The project, which has been in development for over a year, was previously confirmed to include Star Trek: Picard writer and later showrunner Terry Matalas. Matalas will serve as showrunner for Vision Quest, collaborating once again with several other Star Trek writers.

Marvel has yet to reveal specific plot details, though fans anticipate the series will explore the fate of Paul Bettany’s White Vision, last seen flying off at the conclusion of WandaVision. Deadline reported that the new show takes place after the events of WandaVision and “follows Vision as he works to recover his memories and sense of humanity.” Filming for Vision Quest started earlier this spring, primarily at Pinewood Studios in London, with additional location shooting reported in Scotland.

Interestingly, the series is also rumored to feature the return of James Spader’s Ultron—last seen being destroyed in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron—as well as the reappearance of Raza from the original Iron Man, who infamously captured Tony Stark and held him captive in a cave.

Vision Quest is slated for a Disney+ release sometime in 2026. For those keeping track, this likely places its arrival before the delayed Avengers: Doomsday—though after Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
