Mecha BREAK to Unlock All Starting Mechs After Feedback

Author:Kristen Update:May 06,2025

Following the recent open beta of Mecha BREAK, which concluded on March 16, the developers at Chinese studio Amazing Seasun are taking player feedback seriously. With a peak of over 300,000 players and currently ranking as the 5th most wishlisted game on Steam, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the key pieces of feedback revolves around the accessibility of Break Strikers, or Mechs, within the game.

Currently, players start with access to just one Break Striker, with the option to unlock the remaining 11 by earning in-game currency through multiplayer matches. This process can be quite time-consuming, requiring players to grind through numerous games to acquire all 12 Break Strikers. In response to this feedback, Amazing Seasun is contemplating a significant change: making all starting mechs available to players from the outset.

While the developers are considering adjustments to the availability of Break Strikers and the use of mech modules in both 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes, they have not yet made any firm commitments. They believe that maintaining a live service model at launch is crucial for the game's long-term success and sustainability.
