Onimusha: Way of the Sword has the best State of Play trailer

The most impressive trailer from the recent State of Play showcase undoubtedly belonged to the new Onimusha game. Onimusha: Way of the Sword unveiled its protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi, strikingly rendered using the likeness of the iconic Toshiro Mifune.

The trailer depicts Musashi engaging in intense combat against demons that have invaded Kyoto, interspersed with humorous moments of him attempting to evade his monstrous foes.

The narrative reveals Musashi's transformation into the wielder of the Oni Gauntlet through his unwavering faith. His mission: to battle the creatures plaguing the mortal realm and absorb their souls to replenish his health and unlock devastating special abilities.
