The OPL DRC Reader app is your go-to solution for diagnosing OBDII DTC errors in Opel, Vauxhall, and Chevrolet vehicles equipped with CAN BUS (HS-CAN) systems, specifically those manufactured post-2004. This app is tailored to ensure you get the most accurate and detailed error readings for your vehicle.
For Opel / Vauxhall owners, the app supports models such as:
- Insignia
- Astra J
- Astra H - Engine Module Only
- Vectra C / Signum - Engine Module Only
- Others - not tested
If you're driving a Chevrolet, the app works with:
- Orlando
- Cruze - not tested
- Others - not tested
For owners of other GM brand vehicles, please note that these have not been tested yet.
With the OPL DRC Reader, you can easily retrieve essential information such as your vehicle's VIN, Engine Code, and a comprehensive list of detected errors across multiple modules:
- Engine Control Module (ECU)
- Body Control Module (BCM)
- Transmission Control Module (TCM)
Additionally, the app can read mileage from certain modules, which is available in select vehicles.
CAUTION: To ensure the app functions correctly, it requires a compatible ELM327 Bluetooth interface, version 1.3 or higher. Be aware that the app may not work with low-quality ELM327 clones.
