Record Your Catch

Create and submit catch records for English/Welsh under 10m vessels that fish in UK waters using our dedicated app. This tool is essential for all English and Welsh under 10 metre (U10m) flag vessels operating in UK waters to ensure their catches are properly documented. Accurate catch recording is crucial for UK fishing authorities to manage fishing levels sustainably and effectively.

This service is available to:

• Registered vessel owners
• Skippers

If you are a registered vessel owner, you will receive an invite email. The timing of this email depends on your vessel's size. You must register and start using the service within one calendar month of receiving the email. Skippers should contact the vessel owner to obtain an invite.

Members of a producer organisation who lease quota should not use this online service. Instead, continue to record your catch using a paper logbook.

This new digital service replaces the following:

• The NEP1 form
• The MSAR1 form, though local Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) may require additional information depending on your location
• The requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in 2 ICES areas (currently IVc/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
