Dune: Awakening's open beta weekend offered players a glimpse of the first 20-25 hours, including various features. During the Global LAN Party livestream on May 10, a flaw surfaced where players could perpetually stun opponents in PvP combat.

This "stunlock exploit" occurs when players spam rapid knife attacks on stamina-depleted enemies, leaving them defenseless, unable to use abilities, or escape, trapped in a continuous stagger state.

The issue gained traction during streams by popular gamers Tyler1 and Shroud, spotlighting the bug's impact on gameplay.
