This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, provided valuable insights into the game's development, specifically addressing the features fans have been eagerly requesting and which of these will be integrated into the game.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to utilize real facial capture technology to create personalized templates for crafting zois. This feature, previously highlighted in summer announcements, aims to streamline the zoi creation process even further, making it more user-friendly and accessible. Kjun's vision is to enhance the ease with which players can bring their creations to life.

Another highly anticipated feature is the inclusion of pets in the game. While players will indeed be able to have their own furry companions, this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience. It's worth noting that Kjun, himself an avid animal lover, is particularly excited about this addition.

In terms of the game's environment, InZOI will feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. While the game engine is capable of supporting higher constructions, this limit has been implemented to address potential performance issues, ensuring a smooth gaming experience for all players.

The game will also include gas stations and introduce more dynamic combat scenarios. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic showcased in early previews felt too simplistic. In response to player feedback, the game now features full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, adding a new layer of engagement and excitement.

Recognizing that InZOI may attract many newcomers to the genre, the developers have thoughtfully included a tutorial. This feature demonstrates their commitment to making the game accessible and enjoyable for players of all experience levels.

As of now, Krafton is on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays anticipated. This news is sure to excite fans eagerly awaiting the chance to dive into the world of InZOI.
